Taking a photograph can be a lot like falling in love. There is a point of almost surreal focus, when the general noise of life is suddenly quieted, and the subject is all that matters.
I strive to make visually striking images that are at once beautiful, emotive and immersive. I want to tell stories with my images about the world we live in both true and imagined. Sometimes life presents these perfect, unplanned photographic moments; other times, I see a photograph – or series of photographs – in my mind and create the moments necessary to bring them to life.
Whether I’m photographing architecture and design, following people for a story, or happen upon a moment randomly, I want to show the world we live in from a unique and interesting point of view that might not be obvious to the casual observer.
